How to HIDE/SHOW icons from Notification area of the TASKBAR

Task bar Notification Area gives us the information about many small utilities running in the background but if the list goes up it looks very much cluttered. However from the whole list there are many icons which we don’t want to be displayed, if so there is a simple option through which you can hide them.

1. First right click the mouse button on any empty space over the task bar and choose properties.

2. Now click on the Customize button and in case if it is greyed out then check the box “Hide Inactive Icons”

3. In the list of the Current Items, change the behavior of “safely Remove Hardware” from Hide when Inactive to Always Hide.

That’s it you have successfully customized it!! Enjoy!
