Google Maps for mobile and desktop now makes transit arrival times available by clicking on the station icon for transit systems in San Francisco, San Diego, Portland OR, Boston, Madrid, and Turin.
Now, whether you’re using Google Maps in your browser or on a mobile phone, you can see actual departure and arrival times for your transit route. This latest feature update is extremely handy especially because service alerts are also included so you’ll know if there’s been a delay or terminal closure.
The new feature should start showing up in both the desktop and mobile webapps starting today, as well as for users who have the latest version of Google Maps for Mobile on Android. Unfortunately, if you’re in the UK or any other parts of the world apart from the above, you’ll need to wait but the team are working on it.
